Telangana based Gayatri Cooperative Urban Bank has provided financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to the nominee of a deceased customer under an accident insurance policy, highlighting the importance of insurance protection during difficult times.
The customer, Kuntamalla Ganesh of Hanumakonda, recently died in a road accident. As he had availed of accident insurance, a claim of Rs 1 lakh was sanctioned as compensation.
DRDO Sriniv presented the insurance cheque to the nominee, Kuntamalla Swapna, along with representatives of the bank.
The cheque handover was attended by the bank’s branch manager, Myadari Sandeep Kumar, and other staff members.
