National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL) is exploring opportunities to expand India’s rice exports to Côte d’Ivoire, with the Indian Embassy in Abidjan facilitating business interactions with leading rice importers and distributors in the West African nation.
As part of its focus on the three Ts – Trade, Technology and Tourism – the Embassy of India organised a business interaction between NCEL and key players in Côte d’Ivoire’s rice import and distribution sector.
The discussions focused on identifying new avenues for Indian rice exports, understanding market opportunities and building stronger business-to-business (B2B) linkages between the two countries.
The initiative marks another step towards positioning India’s cooperative sector as an active player in international agricultural trade.
NCEL, established to promote exports through India’s cooperative network, is working to connect domestic cooperative producers with overseas markets, creating new opportunities for farmers and strengthening India’s agricultural export presence.
