IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani, who is currently attending a week-long wellness programme near Hyderabad after returning from a hectic international schedule, met former President of India Ram Nath Kovind at the ‘Wellness by Heartfulness’ health camp at Kanha Shanti Vanam.
Sharing the meeting on social media, Sanghani described his interaction with Kovind as a warm and cordial one. He said the former President presented him with his book, ‘Triumph of the Indian Republic’, during the meeting.
Sanghani expressed his appreciation for Kovind’s gesture and said that his simple personality and dedication to the service of the nation have always been inspiring.
The meeting comes shortly after Sanghani’s return from Panama, where he was elected as an At-Large Director on the Global Board of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), representing India.
Sanghani has been using the wellness programme to unwind following his demanding international engagements, which included the ICA General Assembly and Board elections in Panama.
He thanked Kovind for the warmth and affection extended during their meeting.
