Pune Peoples Co-operative Bank Ltd. held its 75th Annual General Meeting in Pune on Sunday, marking its Amrit Mahotsav year with the declaration of a 15% dividend for members.
Addressing the AGM, Chairman Shridhar Gaikwad said the bank recorded total business of Rs 3,063 crore and a profit of Rs 19.45 crore during the financial year. The bank also maintained 0% net NPA, while its business grew by a record Rs 357 crore over the previous year.
The bank currently operates through 23 branches and has recently opened branches at Vetal, Katraj and Shivapur. It plans to open at least four more branches in the coming year.
Gaikwad also highlighted the completion of the bank’s seven-storey new head office, describing it as a major milestone. The bank undertook several activities during its 75th anniversary year, including blood donation camps, women’s felicitation, employee health initiatives and cyber awareness programmes.
The AGM also featured interaction with members, who were given responses to their queries by senior bank officials.
