Pune based Mahesh Nagari Multistate Co-operative Credit Society has crossed the Rs 250 crore deposit milestone, marking a significant achievement in its growth journey. The announcement was made by Managing Director and CEO Magraj Rathi at the society’s 28th Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday.
Founded in 1998 by the late Dhanrajji Rathi, the society has grown on the strength of member trust, financial discipline and transparent operations. Rathi said the institution follows strict lending and recovery norms and has also embraced modern technology to strengthen its services.
As of March 31, 2026, the society recorded deposits of Rs 232.69 crore, loans of Rs 147 crore and total business of Rs 379.69 crore. Its share capital stood at Rs 3.58 crore, while net profit was Rs 2.10 crore. The society subsequently crossed the Rs 250 crore deposit mark.
Rathi said the institution will continue to focus on loans for housing, vehicles, domestic and overseas education, and small businesses, while maintaining financial discipline and transparent governance.
The AGM was attended by former Cooperative Commissioners Anil Kawade and Shailesh Kotmire, former Additional Registrar Krishnaji Wadekar, banking officials and other dignitaries.
Chairman Rajesh Rathi announced a 9% dividend for members. Around 500 members, depositors, account holders and well-wishers attended the meeting.
