Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the three-day ‘Chavthicho Bazaar’ at Sankhali, highlighting the state’s efforts to promote rural livelihoods and cooperative initiatives.
The event was organised by Surabhi MCLF Co-operative Multipurpose Society Ltd. with the support of the Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission and the Department of Rural Development.
The bazaar provides a platform for rural communities and self-help groups to showcase and market their products, while promoting local entrepreneurship and livelihood opportunities.
The initiative also reflects the role of cooperative institutions in supporting grassroots economic activities and strengthening rural market linkages.
