Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu laid the foundation stone for the comprehensive renovation and modernisation of Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (HPSCB)’s Sahkar Sadan, Commercial Building No. 4, located on the iconic Mall Road in Shimla.
The modernisation project is aimed at giving the cooperative bank’s prominent commercial property a contemporary makeover and strengthening its infrastructure to meet evolving institutional requirements.
HPSCB Chairman Davender Shyam was present on the occasion along with HIMUDA Vice Chairman Er. Yashwant Chhajta and HPSCB Managing Director Vinay Singh, IAS. Bank Directors Sanjay Sharma and Hari Krishan Himral, besides senior officials of HPSCB and HIMUDA, also attended the foundation-laying ceremony.
The initiative marks another step towards strengthening the infrastructure of Himachal Pradesh’s cooperative banking sector and enhancing the institutional presence of HPSCB in the state capital.
