Uttar Pradesh Cooperation Minister J.P. Rathore held a meeting with senior departmental officials at Sahakarita Bhawan, Lucknow, to discuss the Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Policy-2026 and chalk out the future course of action.
Sharing the update on social media, Rathore said he reviewed the proposed policy and discussed the upcoming action plan, while issuing necessary directions to officials for its implementation.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Cooperation Ajay Kumar Shukla, Registrar Cooperative Kumar Prashant, Managing Director of PCF Chandra Bhushan Tripathi, and Additional Commissioner & Additional Registrar (Banking) Anil Singh, along with other departmental officials.
The discussions focused on taking forward the state’s cooperative policy and ensuring coordinated action by various departments.
The minister’s meeting comes as Uttar Pradesh continues to strengthen its cooperative framework, with the proposed State Cooperative Policy-2026 expected to provide a roadmap for the sector’s development and improve the functioning and outreach of cooperative institutions across the state.
