The Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) has announced that Annual Returns are to be filed entirely online through the CRCS Portal.
In a brief but important update published on the CRCS Portal, it has been clearly stated that societies should not send physical hardcopies of their Annual Returns to the CRCS office.
The announcement reads: “Annual Returns to be filed entirely online through the CRCS Portal. Do not send a physical hardcopy to the CRCS office.”
The update is significant for cooperative societies filing their statutory Annual Returns with the Central Registrar. Societies are now required to use the online CRCS Portal for submitting their returns instead of dispatching physical documents to the CRCS office.
