The Yogi Adityanath government has transferred 17 IAS officers in a major administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, bringing significant changes to the state’s cooperative administration and cooperative sugar sector.
Among the key appointments, Kumar Prashant, Secretary, Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission, has been appointed Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperatives, Uttar Pradesh, replacing Yogesh Kumar.
Yogesh Kumar, who was serving as Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperatives, has been appointed Managing Director, UP Jal Nigam (Rural).
In another cooperative-sector change, Amrit Pal Kaur has been appointed Joint Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Mills Federation Ltd.
Meanwhile, Navneet Sehara, who was serving as Joint MD of the UP Cooperative Sugar Mills Federation, has been relieved of the post and has not been given a new assignment for now.
The reshuffle also includes changes in revenue, urban development, rural development, planning, higher education, livestock and other departments.
