Abhinav Singh Baghel, Chief Executive Officer of District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB), Balaghat, was honoured by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) for the bank’s outstanding performance under the Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
The felicitation was held in New Delhi, as part of the North Zone APY Felicitation Programme and Strategy Review Meeting. Baghel received a memento and certificate in recognition of the bank’s contribution to strengthening APY outreach and pension coverage in the North Zone.
The achievement was attributed to the sustained efforts of officials and employees at the bank’s headquarters, branches and cooperative societies, along with guidance from Collector and Bank Administrator Kumar Satyam and continued support from Apex Bank Bhopal officials.
The programme also reviewed APY performance and discussed strategies to further expand pension coverage and strengthen retirement security.
