As part of the ‘Prosperity through Cooperation’ resolve, 100 drivers of India’s first cooperative-based mobility service, Bharat Taxi, have been invited as special guests to the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort in 2026.
Ahead of the celebrations, the ‘Bharat Taxi Dialogue’ will be held on August 14, 2026, at Atal Akshaya Urja Bhavan Auditorium, New Delhi. Union Minister of State for Cooperation K.P. Gurjar and Union Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol will grace the programme.
The dialogue will provide Bharat Taxi drivers an opportunity to share their experiences, suggestions and aspirations.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, Bharat Taxi aims to advance the cooperative model by creating opportunities for ownership, dignity and empowerment for drivers, while contributing to the vision of a self-reliant India.
