Goa StCB: Deposits rise 8.35%; Advances grow 8.42%

The Goa State Co-operative Bank Ltd. continued its growth trajectory in FY2025-26, with total business rising to Rs 3,909 crore, compared with Rs 3,607 crore a year earlier, according to its audited balance sheet.

The bank’s deposits increased 8.35% to Rs 2,606 crore as on March 31, 2026, from Rs 2,406 crore in FY25. Advances also grew 8.42% to Rs 1,302 crore from Rs 1,201 crore, adding around Rs 101 crore to the loan book.

The bank’s reserves and surplus rose 19.28% to Rs 1,292 crore from Rs 1,083 crore, strengthening its financial base. Share capital also increased to Rs 934 crore, compared with Rs 918 crore a year earlier.

Investments recorded strong growth of 17.54%, rising to Rs 1,019 crore from Rs 867 crore, while borrowings increased moderately to Rs 117 crore from Rs 110 crore.

The bank’s total balance-sheet size expanded to Rs 3,052 crore from Rs 2,829 crore, registering growth of nearly 8%.

The FY26 figures point to steady expansion in the bank’s deposits, advances, investments and capital base.
