With digital banking expanding rapidly and cyber fraud emerging as a growing threat, TJSB Sahakari Bank Ltd. conducted a month-long Cyber Security Awareness Campaign across all its 172 branches from July 1 to July 31, 2026.

The campaign, spread across Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, focused particularly on senior citizens and youth. Bank officials interacted with customers at branches and conducted awareness programmes in schools, colleges and various organisations to educate people about emerging cyber threats.

Customers were sensitised about phishing emails, fake websites, OTP and UPI fraud, QR-code scams, social engineering, fake KYC update messages and the safe use of mobile and internet banking. They were advised never to share OTPs, PINs, CVVs or banking credentials, avoid suspicious links and immediately report suspected fraud.

Senior officers from the Cyber Police Department also participated in programmes, guiding citizens on precautions against fraudulent calls, links and unsafe online transactions.

The campaign carried the message: “Stay Alert, Stay Safe, and Do Not Fall Victim to Cyber Fraud.”

Established in 1972, TJSB has emerged as the fourth-largest multi-state Urban Cooperative Bank, with a presence across seven states. The bank has crossed a Rs 25,000-crore business mix, reflecting strong customer confidence.
