Repco Bank hands Rs 22.90 Cr Dividend Cheque to Shah

Tamil Nadu based Repco Bank on Wednesday presented a Rs 22.90 crore dividend cheque to Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah in New Delhi. The dividend, declared at 30%, was paid on the Government of India’s share capital of Rs 76.32 crore for the financial year 2025-26.

The cheque was handed over by E. Santhanam, Chairman, C. Thangaraju, Director and Chairman of Repco Home Finance Ltd., and O.M. Gokul, Managing Director of Repco Bank.

Congratulating the bank, Amit Shah said Repco Bank has set an example in cooperative banking by posting a record net profit of Rs 169 crore during FY 2025-26, the highest in its history. In a post on X, he said the bank’s success under the Ministry of Home Affairs reflects its professionalism and excellence, and extended his best wishes to the management and staff.

Repco Bank has remained consistently profitable for over three decades and has been paying dividends to its stakeholders regularly. The bank also crossed Rs 26,000 crore in total business as on June 30, 2026, marking another milestone in its growth journey.

Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Secretary (Border Management & FFR) Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Joint Secretary (FFR Division) Gaya Prasad, and Joint Secretary (RHS) Makkhan Lal Meena were also present during the cheque presentation ceremony.
