IFFCO Chairman and NCUI President Dileep Sanghani held a virtual meeting with International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) President Ariel Guarco ahead of the ICA meeting scheduled in Panama in September 2026.
Sharing details on X, Sanghani said the discussions focused on advancing the role of cooperatives in promoting world peace, prosperity and inclusive development. Recalling his address at the closing ceremony of the ICA Global Cooperative Conference held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, in November 2024, he reiterated his belief that a peaceful and bloodless global transformation is possible through cooperation.
Sanghani said both leaders discussed carrying this vision forward by strengthening the global cooperative movement. He emphasised that cooperatives are not merely instruments of economic empowerment but a powerful global movement capable of uniting humanity and fostering a more peaceful, prosperous and inclusive world under the spirit of Sahkar Se Samriddhi.
