Manish Sahni, Vice-Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, has been elected unopposed as a Director on the Board of the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), representing the ‘Other Scheduled Banks’ category.
According to a CWC notification issued, Sahni He will serve a three-year term from August 5, 2026, to August 4, 2029.
The election was held to fill a vacancy under Section 7(1)(d) of the Warehousing Corporations Act, 1962, which provides representation to shareholder institutions belonging to the Other Scheduled Banks category.
The Central Warehousing Corporation is a Government of India undertaking that provides scientific warehousing and logistics infrastructure across the country and plays a key role in India’s agricultural storage and supply chain network.
