Union Ministers of State for Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol and Krishan Pal Gurjar on Tuesday reviewed the progress of key schemes and initiatives of the Ministry of Cooperation, with a focus on accelerating implementation and advancing the government’s vision of ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’.

According to Mohol, who shared details of the meeting on social media, senior officials made detailed presentations on major programmes, including cooperative training, the formation of new Multi-Purpose Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), activities currently being undertaken by PACS, and the progress achieved under various ministry schemes.

The two Ministers also reviewed the implementation status of ongoing initiatives and discussed measures to improve their effectiveness and speed up execution to further strengthen the cooperative ecosystem across the country.

Mohol said the Ministry remains fully committed to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’. He added that, under the leadership of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, the cooperative movement is being strengthened to make it more inclusive, efficient and people-centric.

The review meeting was attended by Cooperation Secretary Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Additional Secretary Siddharth Jain, Joint Secretary Anand Kumar Jha and other senior officials of the Ministry.
