NAFED has expanded its cooperative retail footprint in Odisha with the commencement of sales of its food products in Dhenkanal district, marking another milestone in strengthening the state’s cooperative marketing network.
The initiative is aimed at making quality, affordable and trusted food products readily available to consumers while reinforcing the link between farmers and markets.
The expansion reflects NAFED’s continued efforts to build a robust cooperative retail ecosystem that benefits both producers and consumers. By promoting its range of food products through an expanding retail network, the federation seeks to enhance market access for farmers while ensuring consumers receive reliable products at reasonable prices.
The launch in Dhenkanal is expected to further strengthen NAFED’s presence in Odisha and support the broader objective of promoting cooperative-led marketing and food distribution. The initiative also aligns with NAFED’s mission of empowering farmers through better market opportunities while expanding the reach of cooperative products across the country.
