Newly elected NCUI Director and BISCOMAUN Chairman Vishal Singh met Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary to discuss key issues concerning the cooperative sector and the functioning of BISCOMAUN.
During the courtesy meeting, Singh apprised the Chief Minister of several important matters related to strengthening the state’s cooperative movement and enhancing the role of BISCOMAUN in supporting farmers and cooperative institutions.
Taking note of the issues raised, the Chief Minister directed the concerned department’s secretary and senior officials to convene a detailed review meeting on August 1, 2026, to examine the proposals and facilitate timely and positive decisions.
The meeting was also attended by Bihar State Cooperative Bank Chairman Ramesh Chand Chaubey, Bihar Cooperative Federation Chairman Vinay Shahi and Vaishali District Cooperative Bank Chairman Sudhir Ranjan Prasad.
Expressing gratitude for the Chief Minister’s support and guidance, Vishal Singh said the proposed review meeting would help accelerate reforms and provide fresh momentum to Bihar’s cooperative movement, while strengthening BISCOMAUN’s contribution to the state’s agricultural and rural development.
