The youngest Director on the Board of the largest farmers’ cooperative IFFCO, Aditya Yadav tied the knot this week in Safai, Uttar Pradesh in what was a high-voltage event. Politicians, businessmen and cooperators-all vied to witness the event.
Aditya got married to Raj Lakshmi, daughter of a powerful Thakur from Azamgarh and media reports call it a high-powered Yadav-Thakur alliance. It is heard through the grapevine that the liaison was fixed by Mulayam Singh’s old friend Amar Singh.
It was a motley crowd of guests due to Aditya’s cooperative as well as political connections. Being the scion of the most powerful Yadav family of the state of Uttar Pradesh, Aditya is not only the youngest Director on the IFFCO Board but also on the international cooperative body ICA.
In his twitter account he describes himself “Director on Global Board of ICA from India; Director IFFCO; Chairman PCF, Young & Enthusiastic Politician, Save Energy, Traveler.”
IFFCO MD who is credited with grooming the cooperative persona for the newly-wed not only participated in the event but also posted a photograph of it. His tweet read” At #Safai, Came 2 attend marriage of #AdityaYadav @adityayadav4ica, #IFFCO’s youngest director. Many congratulations.”
Though there were who’s who of the country participating in the event, media did not fail to report the absence of Lalu Prasad Yadav and hinted at a growing chasm between him and Mulayam. Readers would know that they are relatives.
Indian Cooperative joins others in wishing Aditya a blissful conjugal life!
