RJD renominates Sunil for MLC; Files Nomination

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has once again reposed faith in senior leader and former BISCOMAUN Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh, nominating him for the Bihar Legislative Council elections. Singh filed his nomination papers on Monday.

Speaking to Indian Cooperative, Singh expressed gratitude to the party leadership for reposing confidence in him. “The party has trusted me once again, and I am set to enter the Legislative Council for a second consecutive term. I do not foresee any hurdles and am confident of my victory,” he said.

A prominent figure in Bihar’s cooperative sector, Singh served as Chairman of the Bihar State Cooperative Marketing Union (BISCOMAUN) and is widely recognized for championing farmers’ and cooperative institutions’ interests.

He is also regarded as a close associate of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi.

Known for his strong grassroots connect and organizational skills, Singh remains an influential voice in both political and cooperative circles. His renomination is being viewed as a reflection of the party leadership’s continued trust in his leadership and experience.
