Mahendra Yadav, Chairman of the MP State Cooperative Bank, inspected the Multipurpose Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Society (PACS) at Sirsaud in Gwalior and reviewed its operations and farmer-centric services.
During the visit, Yadav interacted with society officials and members and emphasized the vital role of cooperatives in strengthening rural economies and improving farmers’ livelihoods.
He said cooperative institutions remain an effective platform for delivering credit, agricultural inputs, and other essential services to rural communities.
As part of the programme, Yadav also participated in a tree plantation drive and highlighted the importance of environmental conservation.
He urged cooperative institutions and citizens to actively support afforestation and sustainable development initiatives.
