IFFCO Live, a digital news initiative by the fertilizer giant IFFCO has won the gold in the Social Samosa Digital Award in Media & Entertainment category. Penguin Random House India and Hachette have won the Silver and Bronze respectively.

The news was shared by IFFCO Public Relations head Harshendra Vardhan on social media and he wrote “By everyone’s blessings & inspiration, I am Glad to share with you that IFFCOLive, a digital news initiative by IFFCO has won the GOLD in the Social Samosa Digital Award in Media & Entertainment Category”.
The award has just been announced in Mumbai. It’s all about creating concept, idea & selling the non glamorous Agriculture to the public, creating a communication link with people, a jubilant Harshendra said.
Now, we are heading towards creating an established news source which can cater to the mainstream media on rural India & agriculture. It’s an achievement for a cooperative like IFFCO that is basically a fertilizer manufacturer but we are able to tell people that how IFFCO can digitally empower people with its knowledge, he said in his post.
